Can you wear shorts to Getty Museum?
There is a more casual cafe where shorts and thongs would be fine. However, I would not recommend thongs for a day at the Getty under any circumstances. If you are going to be viewing the galleries, you need to wear comfortable walking shoes. The distances can be long and the floor surfaces are very hard.
Does Getty Villa allow food?
Can I bring my own food and drink? No. Visitors will not be permitted to enter the site with their own food, beverages, or alcohol. However, beer and wine are available for purchase on site.
