Why has my Magimix stopped working?
This may happen if you try to process excessive amounts, have left the appliance running for too long, or are processing “heavy” doughs. To resolve this, simply press STOP on the base and wait for 1 hour for the motor to fully cool down before attempting to switch it on again.
How long should a Magimix last?
The motor of the food processors, the juicers and the blenders is guaranteed for 30 years* (comprising the motor, ie stator, rotor, bushings, relay and capacitor) and the parts for 3 years against genuine manufacturing faults. If you wish to claim under this guarantee, you will need to provide proof of purchase.
Can you put hot liquids in a Magimix?
Yes, the glass jug is heat resistant. When processing hot liquids, remove the measuring cap to allow any steam to escape and always start at slow speed (or on soup function).
