It’s great action, at times heartfelt or hilarious or risque. Christians might be offended by the not so subtle references to biblical stories (i.e. “immaculate” conception of Xena’s baby.) But the show doesn’t take itself seriously either (look for 2 or 3 times when Xena is whistling her own theme song.)
