When can you switch to forward facing Diono?
Diono always recommends rear-facing for longer and every Radian® model is suitable for rear-facing use until 50 lbs. Regardless of which car seat you have you should always read your car seat manual to understand when it’s time to switch modes.

If you can get your hand in there, it’s a tilt lock. So you just lift up on the metal piece and it will loosen.

How do you tighten the seat belt on a Diono Rainier convertible?
The Rainier incorporates a ‘trick’ that all Diono convertible seats have had. They provide a nice slit on each side of the cover for easy access to the seat belt or lower anchor connector strap. To tighten either the connector strap or belt, just reach through the cover and tighten.
What are the installation requirements for the Rainier?
The Rainier has several unique installation requirements. In rear facing position, the detachable boot is required for any install.
