What is T20 Tri Series?
The 2021–22 Nepal T20I Tri-Nation Series was a Twenty20 International (T20I) cricket tournament that took place in Nepal from 28 March to 4 April 2022. The participating teams were the hosts Nepal along with Malaysia and Papua New Guinea.
Why are there no more tri series?
Tri nation series were indeed interesting to watch in 90’s and 00’s. However, Tri nation series matches are no longer profitable for the host nation cricket board and broadcasters as it involves matches without the host nation. Matches without host nation results in low attendance with the exception of India.
