What is R152a used for?

Can I use R12a in a R134a system?
It’s illegal to vent R134a into the atmostphere! You don’t just blow it out! Just adding R12a to a 134a system doesn’t work very well because a 50/50 mix is very inefficient. If you don’t have a vacuum pump, you can still make it work though.
What happens if you mix R134a and r12a?
If you mix the two there will be a chemical reaction which creates a whole different chemical which you can’t use. Also i heard the two might gel up ruining your compressor and/or clogging up your entire system. If you dont have a vacuum and cannot DIY properly, then dont DIY and go take it to a shop.
Can I use r12a in a R12 system?
If your system was designed for R12, you can use it with no issue. If your system was designed for 134, then use that. Some systems were originally R12 and then were converted to use 134. The conversions work reasonably well, bu not as good with the R12.
Can R12a replace R134a?
The Duracool product is not R12, but R12a or R129 as listed in their FAQ. FAQ states it’s a drop-in replacement for R134a. As far as constructive comments for refilling your system, the FAQ has a pretty good procedure listed, due to the weight differences between the two products.
Will R12 work in a 134a system?
Mixing R12 and R-134a refrigerants is illegal, and even if you previously bleed out the R12, the system has to be adjusted to use R-134a, or it will cause leaks, copper corrosion, and lack the lubrication required for optimal operation.
