Illegal Activity Being convicted of a felony or misdemeanor as defined by Federal or state law, where the crime occurred while the student was enrolled in Job Corps. Can you leave Job Corps whenever you want?
Can I leave Job Corps? Yes. No one will force you to stay if you’re not happy at the center. All we ask is that you try your best to succeed.
Does Job Corps give money?
Job Corps pays you a living allowance in cash twice a month. New and readmitted students receive arrival pay in the amount of a $45. After that, the amount of your base pay depends on the number of days you are eligible for payment. For days 1-182, you receive $45 every two weeks.
Can you bring razors to Job Corps?
These include shampoo, conditioner, soap, toothpaste, mouthwash and deodorant. Job Corps students should also bring implements used to maintain hygiene such as razors, combs, any needed hair appliances such as dryers and curlers, toothbrushes, and feminine hygiene products.
