Is Ulua beach good for snorkeling?
Thanks to its gently, sandy entry and protected, shallow cove, Ulua is arguably Maui’s best beach for snorkeling and shore based diving. The best section of reef is the point between here and Mokapu Beach, which is just on the other side of the headland that separates the two bays.

The people are nice and friendly they have bathrooms and showers/places to clean feet. We also went snorkeling and we saw different fish and turtles. Also felt very safe since there was a lot of snorkelers and even scuba divers there. There was also plenty of shade at the beach which was very good.
