Is Schluter Kerdi worth it?

Great product. It takes a little longer than the traditional mud shower bed and water-proofing methods, but it is worth it. Took my old shower down to the studs and completely rebuilt it with DuraRock and then the Schluter Kerdi Shower Kit and 12×16″ tiles.

Are Schluter systems any good?

Really, this is an elegantly simple yet highly effective system. I also bought and installed the Schluter Niches. I highly recommend this kit and all the Schluter-Kerdi products. I went from a bathtub to a walk-in shower and this system worked great!

Can I use modified thinset on KERDI?
