Is forsaken free?
With many changes made in Destiny 2 with the 3.4. 0 update at the start of Bungie’s 30th Anniversary event, Destiny 2: Forsaken is now free for all Destiny 2 players.
Is Destiny coming to an end?
Bungie has been keen to stress that Destiny 2 isn’t going anywhere, but that The Final Light will mark “a dramatic conclusion”. The Light and Darkness saga will come to a dramatic conclusion in Destiny 2: The Final Shape. The name of the expansion, though, gives long-term fans plenty to consider.
What is Lightfall going to be about?
Lightfall is said to be the end of the Light vs Darkness arc of the Destiny story, meaning the future of the franchise is up in the air after the expansion. The Witch Queen revealed new lore and storyline to the game and Lightfall is set to continue from where it left off.
Is Forsaken getting vaulted?
The campaign for Destiny 2’s Forsaken expansion will be vaulted at the start of Year 5, on Feb. 22, 2022. Alongside Forsaken, Destiny 2 will also be vaulting the Tangled Shore destination and some Year 4 seasonal content, including the Presage and Harbinger Exotic missions. The Dreaming City, however, will stay open.
Will Witch Queen have a new planet?
The upcoming expansion of Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will be added alongside a couple of new locations for the players. They are announced to be the Savathun’s Throne World and Mars.

When it comes to Lightfall, though, things are shrouded in mystery. While the expansion was originally intended to be the end of the current Destiny saga, it’ll now lead into Destiny 2: The Final Shape, yet another expansion revealed by Bungie.
