As of Patch 1.3, there are 71 quests in The Sims Medieval. The Pirates and Nobles expansion adds 15 more quests for a total of 86 quests.
How do you end the free time quest in Sims Medieval?
Since there is no goal for this quest, the only way to end it is to choose to abandon the quest (Quest Failed). If the player wants to choose a Hero to become the Monarch of a new Kingdom, choose the Brave New World quest instead.

Getting information out of a Sim requires two things: an Interrogation Chair (which can be purchased from Furnish Mode) and a secondary Sim on your lot. Click on the chair and choose “Lock Up Sim…” then select a Sim from the list.
