How is FPD done?
This procedure, commonly referred to as a “bridge,” is a way to replace a missing tooth with a fixed prosthesis. During this procedure the teeth on both sides of the area where the tooth is missing are prepared for a crown. The two crowns have a crown attached to them to replace the missing tooth.

Indication for FPD A fixed partial denture is preferred for the following siruations: -Short span edentulous arches. -Presence of sound teeth that can offer sufficient support adjacent to the edentulous space. -Cases with ridge resorption where a removable partial denture cannot be stable or retentive.
