- Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) required. SIUE code: 001759.
- Funding is awarded based on FAFSA filing date. Preferential consideration will be given to students completing the SIUE application for admission on or before December 1 and filing the FAFSA as soon as possible beginning October 1.

What is the SIUE grant?
New Students Here are just a few of the prestigious SIUE scholarships, awards and grants. These will be awarded to students entering in the fall semester with the exception of the SIUE Commitment and GEO Award. Freshmen – up to $16,000 over 4 years. Transfers – up to $6,000 over 2 years.
