Can you go into Desert View Watchtower?
Desert View Watchtower Retail Store (Kiva Room) is open daily: 9 am to 5 pm: Only the ground level is currently open to the public. The tower itself remains closed until further notice. A National Historic Landmark, the Watchtower was constructed in 1932.
Can you camp overnight at the Grand Canyon?
If you wish to camp anywhere in the park, other than in developed campgrounds on the North Rim or the South Rim, you must obtain a permit from the Backcountry Information Center.
