Who is Mutsu?
Please… Mutsu (陸奥?) is a character and one of the heroes from the Kantai Collection series who was implemented into the game on the 23rd of April, 2013. Alongside her sister ships USS Maryland, USS West Virginia, Nagato , Colorado , Nelson and HMS Rodney, she is one of the Big Seven.
What ever happened to the Mutsu?
This time will be fine! Mutsu was named after the Mutsu province and was part of the Big 7 battleships (Nagato and herself; UK battleships Nelson and Rodney; and the US battleships Colorado, Maryland, and West Virginia), hence her introduction. She was sunk when a fire in her third gun turret caused an explosion (see above).
What is the difference between Mutsu and Nagato Kai?
If Nagato Kai is the 2nd ship, Mutsu gains a 1.61x post-cap modifier while Nagato gains a 1.62x post-cap modifier. If Nagato Kai Ni is the 2nd ship, both Mutsu and Nagato will gain a 1.68x post-cap modifier.

In the anime, Mutsu is shown to be calm and collected in times of crisis and sadness. She can be seen comforting the Secretary Ship Nagato towards the end of Episode 3 after the Naval District’s attempt at a surprise attack on W Island failed and a fellow fleet girl was sunk.
