Is the M-Audio delta-44 a good card?

The M-audio Delta 44 card is an excellent card. This is my second audio card. My first Delta-44 card is now about 10 years old and it still works flawlessly with early releases of Cool Edit Pro or Adobe Audition. I like the idea of a “no frills” 4 simultaneous input interface card which is a non-usb connection.

There is some creative Emu cards out there which are fairly similar to the delta and have similar price. i recommended those, this thing is garbage, M Audio should be ashamed of themselves! UPDATE: After having spent about a month tweaking my system, i was finally able to get the noises to go away.
