Junkyard Dog is often considered the first Black superstar in wrestling. With unmatched charisma and an exciting moveset, JYD was the biggest star in the Mid-South wrestling territories during the ’70s and early ’80s. His rivalry with the Fabulous Freebirds is still the stuff of wrestling legend.
