Does NC State Fair have animals?

2019 N.C. State Fair – State Fair Ark. North Carolina’s diverse production of livestock is featured at the State Fair Ark, with more than 60 animals on display. Fairgoers can see cattle, sheep, goats, swine and learn more about the various breeds of farm animals raised in North Carolina.

Where do you park at the NC State Fair?

Get to the Fair – Parking Free parking is available on State Fair, Carter-Finley Football Stadium and PNC Arena properties. Fairgoers are encouraged to take Wade Avenue to the Edwards Mill Extension to park in these lots. There may be exceptions if events are scheduled at Carter-Finley or PNC Arena.

Do you have to wear a mask at the N.C. State Fair?

Protect yourself and others by wearing a face covering. The number one thing people tell us they come to the fair for is food. This makes it extremely difficult on our staff and public safety officers to enforce a mask mandate.

Can you take a dog to the N.C. State Fair?

The use of drones or unmanned aircraft/vehicles are prohibited on all State Fair property including HHC. No dogs are allowed in the main arena, dining area or administrative areas. No loose dogs/pets are allowed anywhere on the premises.

Can you conceal carry at N.C. State Fair?

North Carolina residents who have concealed-carry permits will still be prohibited from bringing their firearms to the North Carolina State Fair this year.
