Are Arctic fans any good?

They blow very well and move a lot of air. I have two of these mounted on my radiator for a closed loop water cooler I use (Corsair H100i). They don’t have quite the static pressure of the Corsair HS series fans, but the system is not over clocked and I max out around 48c on the CPU with the ARCTIC F12’s still.

Is 2 cooling fans enough for a gaming PC?

But normally, two case fans (one intake in front and one exhaust at the back) show great improvements to the CPU and GPU thermals of the computer. For a low-end gaming PC, 1/1 is fine. But for high-end power hardware, 2/1 is better. By adding more fans, it will help improve temperature by less than 2-3 degrees.

Noctua fans are worth it because they’re utterly quiet, durable, and adept at blowing out heat. They come with many accessories and, unlike most fans, don’t start rattling like a jet while spinning at max speed. Noctua fans are certainly worth it if you care about tranquility since they’re exceptionally silent.

Is Arctic P12 good?

The P12 PWM PST is a good, solid built fan. With only five blades I am confident that it will run quieter than those with seven or more blades. Of course, this will depend on the speeds. The fan is perfect for the “no frills” people.

How many PC fans is too many?

Two fans are usually enough. Two more may see a max 2-3 degree drop in temperature. Benefit of any more fans is usually negligible. Keep in mind the GPU/CPU have their own fans which benefit from a well-designed airflow from the case fans.

How much fans should a PC have?

In a standard desktop PC, you want at least one intake and one exhaust fan. Some cheaper cases only include a single intake fan on the front of the PC, or a single exhaust fan at the rear. Spend a couple bucks for another fan so you have both.

Is 1000 rpm good for case fan?

The higher the RPM, the more noisier it is. It’s also better for a cool build. A 1000rpm fan is a bit low, as most standard case fans are anywhere from 1400-1600rpm, and you’d use a 1000rpm fan for a non-intensive work or leisure computer.

Is 1 fan enough for PC?

I recommend at least 2 fans. One for intake and one for exhaust for best results. You can get by with just one fan though if you are careful. Fans are like $5-10 though so it really shouldn’t be an issue.
