How do I send my ACT scores?
You can send your ACT scores to colleges several different ways, but the easiest way is to order score reports through your ACT web account. Click on the link that says Send Your Scores in your account homepage.
Can I send my ACT score without writing?
From my understanding of the ACT, you have to send your composite and your writing if you took the writing. I also just went and tried to send only the composite scores, but it wasn’t obvious how to do it. Your composite score is really good and if you really don’t like your writing score, you can always try again.
Can you send ACT scores after application deadline?
You can send your ACT scores either when you take the test or any time after you get your scores.
Can you send ACT scores before application?
Yes, you can submit SAT scores and ACT scores to colleges even before you submit your application, but you should know that it will not necessarily give you the edge where your admission is concerned. The only benefit you get from the early submission of your test score is that you will save some money.
Can you send ACT scores after submitting application?
Colleges accept your highest score regardless of how many times you take it. When you apply to colleges, report your scores and have ACT send them an official score report. If you are planning to take the ACT again after you submit your applications, note the dates that you plan to take it on the application forms.
Can you send ACT Writing separately?
You unfortunately can’t take the Writing test alone, so if you later decide to apply to a school that does require the Writing, you’ll have to retake the entire test. Another minor note: if you’re taking the ACT through your school, you may or may not take it with Writing, depending on which state you live in.
Should I send both SAT and ACT scores?
The rule of thumb is always this: Send the scores that make you look the best. If your SAT is higher, send the SAT. If your ACT is higher, send the ACT. If they’re both great, consider sending them both in.
