Lamda is Ofqual recognised and therefore is an actual ‘qualification’ and can be taken at four levels: Entry Level. Level 1 – Lamda Grades 1, 2 & 3.
How do I work for LAMDA?
LAMDA Examiners You must hold a recognised teaching qualification or equivalent, and/or a Master’s Degree in a performance related subject. You must also have a minimum of two years’ experience of teaching the LAMDA syllabi.

How many people get accepted to LAMDA?
Only around 400 individuals train with LAMDA in any one year (HESES return 2019). Of those, only around 140 take full-time first degree courses, and the FT UG entry cohort is only around 55, of whom 48 will typically be UK domiciled.
What happens after I apply to work at LAMDA?
If your application is successful, you will be invited for interview at LAMDA. Following a successful interview, you will be invited to attend a training day in London; dates and times of this will be confirmed when you are invited to interview.

Does LAMDA provide student accommodation for its Shakespeare courses?

LAMDA does not have its own on-site student accommodation, instead an external student housing provider is available in West London for those booked on either the four-week or eight-week Shakespeare summer courses.
