Can you use rock salt in a bug-a-salt gun?
CAN I USE ANYTHING BESIDES SALT IN THE BUG-A-SALT? NO! Using other substances will cause problems with your gun. Warranty is voided if other substances are used.
Does the Bug-A-Salt hurt?

Can you use sugar in a bug-a-salt gun?
Answer: I wouldn’t advise substituting salt with sugar. The sugar might jam the gun and you will probably start an infestation of ants/bugs of the targeted area.
