Recently we had the opportunity to talk with a great name in BMX, Chris Moeller, CEO of S&M Bikes/Fit Bike Co. Moeller has been immersed in the world of BMX since he was young and his passions for it shine through in the success of his brands.
Where are Fitbikeco bikes made?
BMX bikes produced in Taiwan had a bad reputation back then and bikes made in USA have been the business. Fit Bikes definetly has a large backround in BMX. S&M Bikes exists since 1987….Shopping Cart.

When was Fitbikeco made?
Robbie Morales left T1 and teamed up with S&Ms Chris Moeller to form the Fit Bike Co in november 2000.
Where are fit BMX frames made?
“There are a lot of riders out there who appreciate the fact that their FIT and S&M frames, forks, handlebars, stems, and sprockets are all made in the USA and that’s what’s really kept our American manufacturing going and improving,” says S&M owner Chris Moeller.
Where are kink frames made?
While every Kink BMX bike is designed in-house at Kink’s home base in Rochester, NY, the frames and parts themselves are made overseas. Like most other bike brands, Kink BMX bikes are manufactured in Taiwan.
Who started fit BMX?
Robbie Morales was on the verge of leaving Terrible One, and mentioned an idea he had about a new brand he wanted to work on, which included some of the most influential riders of our time. He called it “Fit,” and mentioned that it was a project he would be working on with Chris Moeller and S&M Bikes.
