Can you swim in the Fairy Pools Scotland?
Some of the pools make great swimming, but rarely get warm (a wetsuit is a good option). This first waterfall is the highest fall and deepest pool. For the brave only there are some great high jumps. On the other side of the river from the path it is possible to jump into deep blue pool (approximately 10 meters high).
Is it an easy walk to the Fairy Pools?
There is a short walk downhill to the start of the fairy pools and you can either take a long circular walk, if head to the end of the pools and return. Walking is rough underfoot so bring sturdy shoes, the path is not too steep apart from the return to the car park. Glorious, on a clear day.
