What color is ASA GAO?

Asa-Gao is anything but a boring royal blue. I’d describe it as a cross-over between a typical royal blue and a bright turquoise blue like Sailor Jentle Souten or Iroshizuku Kon-Peki. Asa-Gao is considerably more saturated than most regular blue inks, and it balances slightly to a more turquoise hue.
Are Iroshizuku inks good?
The Iroshizuku inks are, generally speaking, known to be reasonably priced, nicely colored, relatively practical, and very easy to use. These are dependable inks that are very user-friendly. Being a luxury ink, they have subtle color tones and excellent overall performance in almost all fountain pens.
Is pilot Iroshizuku ink waterproof?

Is it OK to mix fountain pen inks?
The bottom line and main takeaway from this is don’t mix fountain pen inks. It may be fun to create new and unique colors, but the risk isn’t worth the reward. Furthermore, at a minimum you should always flush your pen with clean water before filling it with a new ink color.

Syo-ro is a really interesting color that I don’t see regularly! It’s a teal color for sure, yet there’s something really interesting about its mix of blue and green that I don’t really see in other turquoises/teals.
