Unfortunately the RCD 510, and RNS 510 for that matter are not upgradeable for CarPlay – i also doubt they ever will be as they just don’t have enough CPU grunt. They are both very old hardware designs which have barely changed in the last 7 years.

How do I reset my RCD510?

Reboot sequence is always < + > + whatever button is next to the Eject button (different versions have different buttons here). Hold them down the same way you would use Ctrl+Alt+Del on a computer, but maybe hold them in for a bit longer (1 second).
