Matt and Leah helped me fall back in love with “Offbeat America”. Leah and I chatted about how awesome old motel signs are and we agreed that it’s too bad that they’re becoming more extinct in Arizona. Lucky for us, there are a few left; so we met at the Buckhorn Motel in Mesa. This brought back a flood of memories of my early twenties when my (soon-to-be) husband and I travelled across America for two weeks and discovered “offbeat america”. If you haven’t done it, I recommend it! You can even do it here, in Arizona. Route 66 is famous for it and it’s only about 2 hours north of Phoenix.
OK….back to my awesome bride and groom, Matt and Leah. Hello? Are they not just the most adorable couple? I don’t know if me or my camera loves them more. Probably me; but I was thrilled to see how comfortable they were in front of the camera.

After the Buckhorn Motel, we headed to an alley in downtown Mesa. Who knew that we would discover these little gems.

In my past blog-posts, I’ve mentioned that I usually ask the couple to dance. I love to see what each couple will do, without me specifying what sort of dance. Matt and Leah did the jitterbug. That is so awesome.
And check out the wall….Leah, Mackenzie and I all had a heart attack when we saw it.

Adios for now Matt and Leah. See you guys at the wedding in April!!
