Mackenzie

I know I’ve allreday blogged about Mackenzie, but it was on the old blog. And Mackenzie is so awesome, she deserves two identical blog-posts. Eat your heart out.

Mackenzie Goodman has been working with me for the past two years. I completely adore her.  Mackenzie is a brilliant photographer and artist. She will be my second wedding photographer and beloved lighting assistant, when I desperately need her.

Here are some of my favorite photographs of her and a few things we thought you should know about her.

Getting inside the amazing mind of Mackenzie Goodman:

Q: What do you love?
A: Hearing rain before feeling it.   And All-day Project Runway marathons.

Q: Favorite Films?
A: Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Lost in Translation, Almost Famous, Into the Wild, Stand by Me, Harold & Maude

Q: Favorite Quotes?
A: For about two years, I’ve kept a small, pocket-sized notbook to record things I overhear. My favorite quote is everything in that notebook.

Q: Secret to Success?
A: “Live every week like it’s Shark Week” -Tracy Jordan, 30 ROCK

Q: Favorite Things?
A: Imperfections.   Even numbers.

Q: Favorite Places?
A: Flagstaff, AZ; Portland, OR; White Sands, NM

Q: Why photography?
A: I think I fell so easily into photography because I have such a terrible natural memory. Taking pictures help me archive my experiences in a tangible and aestheticallly pleasing way.
