First Contest Entry: Leah

I just received my first entry for the Arizona Bridal Week – V.I.B. Contest.

Matt and Leah are getting married in April of 2010 and I cannot wait to photograph their wedding!

I adore this couple! Look at how creative her photo and story are:

Leah Chlupsa Chicken Fisheye 1 (2)

The Head-Nesting Chicken……written by: Leah Chlupsa and inspired by her fiancé, Matthew Breeze

Once there was a curious chick who loved to sit on people’s heads

The only problem was, you see, the farmer wished it good and dead

It ran around the yard not once, but five times it did run

It ran around so many times around it just was having fun

It searched and searched and looked real hard, to find a head so round

That could make the most utterly perfect head for nesting which it found

‘Twas the head of a girl, so bright and blonde, the dark was growing out,

And who would know the chick would love this head to nest about

The boy, you see, the chicken’s friend, he had to make a plan

He loved the girl with the nesting hair and thought her smile was grand

He went and told his chicken friend about his one true love,

Then picked him up, his fingers tight and raised it high above

She looked above with fright and said, “No chick will nest my head!”

“Now put that chicken down,” she said, “It’s YOU I want instead!”
